Pictage PUG Meeting
I attended my Pictage PUG meeting tonight in Grapevine with several other great photographers here in the DFW area. Kristin Greenlee of Kristin Greenlee Photography led the meeting with an excellent presentation about the photography business. Some of the ideas she had about using Pictage to maximize sales were really amazing.
If you don’t know what Pictage is then you need to at least check them out and see what they are about. Pictage is essentially a marketing and fulfillment company for photographers, which makes life much easier. I think they’re worth their weight in gold.
Beyond all the learnin’ that went on, I really enjoy meeting other photographers and seeing what they are doing. It’s also an opportunity to make new friends. You can’t have too few of those!
And…….it just so happens that some of my new photographer friends are users of the Shootsac and they had them with them tonight. Now, I have been eyeballing these things for a while, but I had never seen one in person. They are a little on the pricey side, but once I saw it in person, I can definitely see the value and why they are so popular. It’s just a matter of time now till I get one.
